Loving October!

We've had an awesome October. We flew through Halloween 1-6 with ease (except 3) and stayed super busy. This past weekend was, as usual, amazing. We didn't do anything particularly blog-worthy, but that's what made it epic. We got things done around the apartment, hung some pictures up, organized dvds, unloaded boxes, cooked great food, napped, smiled. :) I What IS blog-worthy though, is I also met some more of SniperBen's friends. They are all really great people who I hope to hang out with again soon. Kim and James are two of them and they hosted a really fun pumpkin carving party. Here are a few pics from that...stay…

Another amazing weekend, in the bank

Jess and I whipped out another amazing meal. There was never any chance that it wasn't going to happen. I mean, it was full of all that love and stuff she was talking about. Now that the meal is settled, the table is clean, and the shame of wearing a UGA shirt after that game has sunk in, it's time to head out to Fun Bowl. Chase and I have been cooped up in the house all day while Jess manned the couch with her epic napping skills. It's time for some good ol' family fun. We'll take some pics and update after all is said and done. [flickr-gallery mode="photoset"…

All we had for lunch today was a deli meat sandwich and some pasta salad. Nothing fancy...but it was the best sandwich and pasta salad evah. My theory behind this is corny at best, but I promise you there has to be some validity behind it. Theory 1: When we cook together,…

Road Trip to Camp Lejune, NC

[flickr-gallery mode="photoset" photoset="72157622417555473"] So I'm posting about the NC trip a few weeks after we actually took it, but luckily this is a trip that will be impossible to forget! SniperBen got off work Friday and I was at the apt. waiting for him (and creating the most epic travel playlist you've ever heard.) We grabbed some delicioso Mexican food, stopped to fill up with gas and get some snackage, and we hit the road around 8:30 pm. We had a long drive ahead of us...but somehow time seemed to stop as we drove. The songs, the stories, the secrets, the feelings, the laughter, the tears, the singing, the honesty...they…
